Job Summary

We are looking for a highly motivated individual looking to take on a challenging role.  This is an exciting accounting position with a diverse set of responsibilities in a fast-paced environment.  This position will report directly to the Fixed Asset Accounting Manager and will have an opportunity to work closely with the Accounting Team, Market leaders, Finance and Corporate groups.  Responsibilities include supporting the team in various functions of the month-end close, analysis and reconciliations of accounts related to the Fixed Asset/Intangible Asset area.

Essential Functions

• Daily capex invoice and disposal processing – high volume transaction level detail review required
• Daily capex project reconciliations – preparation of general ledger versus subledger analysis
• Preparation of monthly capital spend analysis – project spend versus budget analysis
• Assist in the preparation and documentation of selection support provided to internal and external auditors
• Other Ad hoc request within the fixed asset area including but not limited to system improvements, reporting enhancements, or special audits.

Qualifications

• 4 year Accounting Degree - on CPA track preferred
• 1-3 years of Accounting experience (fixed asset experience preferred)
• Strong Excel skills including short cut keys, pivot tables preferred
• Experience with Oracle and ERP systems preferred
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, both verbal and written, with ability to interact effectively with project managers, internal auditors, finance, and market leadership
• Strong organizational skills, ability to handle details and the ability to multi-task

The salary range for this role is $75,000-$90,000 per year. Compensation is determined during our interview process by assessing a candidate’s experience and skills relative to internal peers and market benchmarks evaluated for the scope and responsibilities of the position.  Please note that the foregoing compensation information is a good-faith assessment associated with this position only and is provided pursuant to the New Jersey Salary Transparency Law.
