As the Marketing Specialist for Smithers Materials Science and Engineering Division you will make a direct contribution to shaping and delivering the division’s marketing activities. As well as taking the lead in executing a range of marketing activities, you will develop annual marketing activity plans with support from the Director of Marketing and contribute to strategy in areas such as lead generation, search and content. You will be a proactive self-starter with an ability to grasp new technical concepts. Having understood a technical service proposition and target audience, you will be able to develop clear and effective messaging, content and campaigns to support lead and enquiry generation. You will be detail orientated and able to demonstrate proven success of managing multiple campaigns, increasing search traffic, driving audience engagement, conversion and lead generation. The successful candidate will have strong commercial awareness with solid analytical ability and critical assessment skills. An ability to work closely with stakeholders across the business and build effective relationships is also essential.
