Job Title: Principal Associate – Trademark Attorney

Location: Delhi, India

Position Summary:

The ideal candidate will have at least 10 years of post-qualification experience in handling trademark prosecution, enforcement, litigation, and portfolio management, preferably within a top-tier IP law firm or corporate legal department.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage and oversee trademark portfolios for domestic and international clients.
• Handle trademark prosecution, opposition, rectification, and enforcement matters.
• Advise clients on IP strategy, brand protection, and legal risks related to trademarks.
• Represent clients before IP offices, tribunals, and courts.
• Lead and mentor junior associates and team members.
• Draft, review, and negotiate legal documents related to trademark matters.
• Coordinate with clients, international associates, and regulatory authorities.

Requirements:

• LL.B. or equivalent law degree from a recognized institution.
• Minimum 8 - 10 years of experience in trademark law.
• Enrolled as an Advocate with a State Bar Council in India.
• Proven track record of managing complex trademark matters.
• Strong analytical, drafting, and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage teams.
• Experience in handling IP matters before the Indian Trade Marks Office, IPAB/NCLT, and courts.

Preferred:

• Registered Trademark Agent (optional but advantageous).
• Experience in international trademark filings and WIPO procedures.
• Should have handled design law.
