Senior Accountant

Our client is seeking a Senior Accountant to be a key contributor to their accounting team, supporting month-end close, financial reporting, and integration of newly acquired entities. This role offers exposure to consolidation, acquisition accounting, and cross-functional initiatives, making it ideal for someone with a strong technical foundation in public accounting looking to grow in a fast-paced, high-growth environment. 

Key Responsibilities

• Own key components of the month-end close, including journal entries, reconciliations, and variance analysis
• Prepare and support financial statements, including balance sheet, income statement, and cash flow
• Assist with financial consolidations across multiple entities
• Support purchase accounting and integration of newly acquired entities
• Partner with external auditors and advisors on audit and tax compliance
• Maintain and strengthen internal controls and accounting policies
• Identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and scalability
• Support onboarding and integration of new entities into shared services processes
• Contribute to system enhancements, automation initiatives, and ad hoc projects
• Collaborate cross-functionally to support business initiatives and financial visibility

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance
• 3–5+ years of accounting experience, preferably in public accounting
• CPA or CPA-eligible strongly preferred
• Strong knowledge of GAAP and financial reporting
• Experience in multi-entity environments or consolidations preferred
• ERP experience required; NetSuite preferred
• Advanced Excel skills with ability to analyze large datasets
• Strong attention to detail and ability to manage deadlines
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills
