A Day in the Life

The Senior Accountant will be responsible for account reconciliations, intercompany reconciliations, bank reconciliations, assist with monthly close and financial reporting. Some travel may be required.

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Participate in the monthly, quarterly, and yearly close process. 
  • Assist with financial statement preparation. 
  • Prepare journal entries and monthly account reconciliation. 
  • Reconcile intercompany schedules and ensure all companies are in balance. 
  • Prepare assigned account reconciliations monthly. 
  • Book bank transactions timely. 
  • Reconcile bank statements monthly. 
  • Other duties as assigned. 

Your Areas of Knowledge and Expertise

  • Bachelor’s Degree required. 
  • 4-6+ years of accounting experience, ideally including financial services or lending.
  • The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of GAAP, and experience with multi-entity, high transaction volume settings. 
  • Demonstrated ability to thrive in a fast-paced work environment. 
  • Advanced Excel skills, familiarity with reporting.
  • Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills.
  • Good interpersonal skills with the ability to work effectively with individuals and groups at all organizational levels, ability to work independently and as part of a team. 
  • CPA license or CPA track, public accounting/audit experience a plus.

COMPENSATION RANGE

The US base salary range for this full-time position is $84,000 - $115,000 annually

Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location.

Within the range, individual pay is determined by multiple factors like job-related skills, experience, and state of residence.  Your recruiter can share more about the specific salary range during the interview process.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

This is a stationary position that requires frequent sitting (approximately 95%), repetitive wrist motions, grasping, speaking, listening, close vision, and the ability to adjust focus.  It also may require occasional standing, lifting, carrying of 20lbs or less, walking, kneeling, bending/stooping, twisting, pulling/pushing, and reaching above the shoulder.  Employees in this position must be physically able to efficiently perform the essential functions of the position.
