Seeking a highly skilled Senior Accountant<\/b> to play a pivotal role in this growth opportunity.

Key Responsibilities:<\/b>
<\/p>

  • Lead Monthly Closing & Journal Entries:<\/b> Own the preparation of journal entries for balance sheet and income statement accounts, ensuring accuracy and compliance with established processes.
    <\/p><\/li>

  • Manage Complex Account Reconciliations:<\/b> Take charge of monthly reconciliation schedules for critical accounts such as cash, fixed assets, prepaid expenses, and accrued liabilities. Investigate discrepancies, provide thorough explanations, and ensure timely resolution.
    <\/p><\/li>

  • Drive Financial Analysis & Reporting:<\/b> Lead detailed analysis of General Ledger accounts, conduct budget -to -actual variance analysis, and deliver actionable insights that influence decision -making at all levels of the organization.
    <\/p><\/li>

  • Support Strategic Budgeting & Forecasting:<\/b> Play a key role in the annual and quarterly budget preparation process, gathering and synthesizing financial data for accurate projections and reforecasting.
    <\/p><\/li>

  • Audit Leadership & Compliance:<\/b> Collaborate with external auditors to ensure smooth execution of the annual audit. Ensure compliance with GAAP, minimize audit adjustments, and address any internal control issues.
    <\/p><\/li>

  • Mentor & Guide the Team:<\/b> Provide leadership and mentorship to junior accountants, offering guidance, answering questions, and fostering a culture of continuous learning and improvement.
    <\/p><\/li>

  • Ensure Tax Compliance:<\/b> Own tax compliance responsibilities, including sales, use, personal, and motor vehicle taxes, ensuring the company remains compliant with all relevant tax regulations.
    <\/p><\/li>

  • Create SOPs & Enhance Processes:<\/b> Develop and implement a comprehensive Standard Operating Procedure (SOP) manual for accounting policies, regulations, and reconciliation procedures, driving consistency and efficiency.
    <\/p><\/li>

  • Financial Leadership:<\/b> Oversee all aspects of account reconciliations, reporting, and financial management, ensuring clarity and alignment across all departments and stakeholders.
    <\/p><\/li>

  • Process Optimization & Innovation:<\/b> Continuously challenge the status quo. Identify opportunities to improve processes, implement best practices, and drive operational excellence within the accounting function.
    <\/p><\/li>

  • Champion Best Practices & Systems:<\/b> Lead the implementation of best practices, advanced systems, and processes that streamline accounting functions, enhance accuracy, and support company growth.
    <\/p><\/li>

  • Take Charge of Special Projects & Reporting:<\/b> Lead critical special projects and provide ad hoc reporting to support key business initiatives, demonstrating your ability to adapt and provide high -level insights on demand.

    • Educational Foundation:<\/b> Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
      <\/p><\/li>

    • Experience & Expertise:<\/b> A minimum of 5 years in finance or accounting, with a proven track record of handling complex accounting functions and driving impactful results.
      <\/p><\/li>

    • Advanced Excel Proficiency:<\/b> Expertise in Excel, with the ability to analyze and manipulate large data sets, and generate financial reports with precision and efficiency.
      <\/p><\/li>

    • Exceptional Attention to Detail:<\/b> A keen eye for detail and accuracy, paired with a strategic mindset to address complex financial challenges.
      <\/p><\/li>

    • Communication Mastery:<\/b> Outstanding communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to build strong relationships with stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
