Responsibilities:

  • Lead, manage, and execute complex environmental projects related to water and wastewater infrastructure, ensuring adherence to quality, budget, and schedule requirements.
  • Provide technical expertise and guidance to multidisciplinary teams, fostering collaboration and driving innovation in project solutions.
  • Oversee all project phases, from conceptual design through construction and commissioning, while maintaining compliance with regulatory standards.
  • Cultivate and maintain strong client relationships, serving as the main point of contact and effectively addressing client needs and concerns.
  • Develop and execute project proposals, including scope definition, budget estimation, and timeline establishment, while actively participating in business development efforts.
  • Monitor project progress, identify potential risks, and implement strategies to mitigate challenges, ensuring project success.
  • Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders, regulatory agencies, and community members to facilitate smooth project execution.
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry trends, emerging technologies, and regulatory changes to inform project strategies.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Civil/Environmental Engineering or a related field; Master's degree is a plus.
  • 20 years of relevant experience in environmental project management, with a focus on water and wastewater infrastructure projects.
  • Proven track record of successfully delivering complex projects related to water and wastewater treatment facilities, collection systems, transmission/distribution projects, pipeline rehabilitation, and pump stations.
  • Strong technical proficiency and understanding of environmental regulations, permitting processes, and industry best practices.
  • Exceptional leadership skills with the ability to manage and mentor teams, fostering a collaborative and results-driven work environment.
  • Experience in developing and maintaining client relationships, coupled with a history of successful business development efforts.
  • Proficiency in project management software and tools for effective project tracking and reporting.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, enabling effective collaboration with internal teams, clients, and stakeholders.
  • Strong organizational acumen, attention to detail, and problem-solving abilities.
