Position Summary:

  • The Senior Staff Accountant serves as a resource for the Azek Corporate Finance function. Includes support to operations and management in reporting and analyzing the consolidated financial performance of the Company’s various operating divisions. Also includes participation in the month-end accounting close process and ensuring the Company’s adherence with generally accepted accounting principles and SOX. The position requires the ability to analyze, understand, and communicate business results, with an emphasis on initiating improvements and driving projects and issues to resolution.

Your primary duties and responsibilities will be: 

  • Ensure an accurate and timely monthly, quarterly, and year-end close.
  • Prepare review journal vouchers and balance sheet account reconciliations to ensure the accuracy and completeness of financials and conformance with generally accepted accounting principles
  • Analyze and effectively communicate the financial performance of the consolidated entity and operating divisions in comparison to forecasted amounts and prior periods. Develop new analyses to drive better understanding of the business.
  • Complete fixed asset reviews with plant management.
  • Manage fixed asset additions, depreciation, and disposal activity within the consolidated fixed asset sub-ledger
  • Produce and distribute internal financial reports.
  • Monitor and execute proper internal controls to ensure compliance with company-wide policies and procedures.
  • Support internal and external financial audits.
  • Participate in the rolling forecast of SG&A expenses.
  • Perform other analytical, accounting, and operational support assignments as directed.

We believe the successful candidate will have: 

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Business or related
  • CPA is required / MBA preferred
  • 3-7+ years related accounting experience required

 

 

As of the date of this posting, a good faith estimate of the current pay scale for this position is $92,000 $100,000. Placement in the range depends on several factors such as experience, skills, geography and internal equity and may change over time. This position qualifies for benefits and you will be eligible to participate in a bonus plan.
