Staff Accountant-Intacct and Bill.com

Cherry Bekaert Recruiting is seeking a detail‑oriented and motivated Staff Accountant to support day‑to‑day accounting operations and month‑end close. This role will be responsible for core accounting functions including accounts payable, accounts receivable, revenue recognition, journal entries, and account reconciliations. The ideal candidate has hands‑on experience with Sage Intacct and Bill.com, a strong accounting foundation, and thrives in a deadline‑driven environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable processes, including invoice processing and payment reconciliation
• Perform revenue recognition in accordance with applicable accounting standards
• Prepare and post journal entries accurately and timely
• Complete account reconciliations for balance sheet and general ledger accounts
• Support and actively participate in month‑end close activities
• Assist with financial reporting and internal documentation as needed
• Ensure accuracy, completeness, and compliance with accounting policies and procedures
• Collaborate cross‑functionally to resolve discrepancies and improve processes

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
• 3+ years of accounting experience in a corporate or public accounting environment
• Hands‑on experience with Sage Intacct
• Hands‑on experience with Bill.com
• Strong understanding of general accounting principles
• High attention to detail with strong organizational and time‑management skills
• Experience supporting audits or financial reviews
• Strong Excel skills
• Ability to work independently while collaborating within a team environment
• Clear written and verbal communication skills
