Key Responsibilities

Instruction and Lesson Planning

• Create and deliver engaging lesson plans aligned with curriculum standards.
• Utilize a variety of instructional strategies, classroom technologies, and hands-on activities.
• Teach and manage a classroom of 20+ students, fostering a positive and inclusive learning environment.

Assessment and Evaluation

• Track student performance through assignments, projects, and assessments.
• Provide timely and constructive feedback to support academic growth.
• Maintain accurate student records to inform instructional planning.

Classroom and Behavior Management

• Establish clear rules and routines to maintain a productive classroom atmosphere.
• Encourage student accountability and positive behavior through consistent practices.

Communication and Collaboration

• Engage with students, parents, and guardians regarding progress and development.
• Work closely with colleagues and administrative staff to enhance student learning and school initiatives.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree (in any field) completed prior to starting. A background in education is not required.
• Strong communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
• Passion for teaching, learning, and fostering student success.
• Ability to work in-person in New York City ($2,500 relocation stipend available for qualified candidates).

Compensation

Salary: $65,000 USD (exact amount may vary based on experience and qualifications)
