Employee Benefits Account Manager

Employee Benefits Account Manager, small group, needed for an Insurance Agency located in Mission Valley!

*Must be Bilingual Spanish

*Must know, and have recent experience with, Employee Navigator

HOURS: Monday – Friday, 8 am – 5 pm

DURATION: Direct Hire

WORKPLACE: This is an in-office position.

PAY: $60,000 - $70,000 per year, depending on experience

Job Duties will include, but are not limited to:

• Serve as the primary point of contact for small group clients (20 lives or less), providing ongoing support and guidance.
• Manage renewals, policy changes, enrollments, and terminations.
• 20% selling (renewals) 80% servicing accounts
• Work closely with carriers to obtain quotes, process renewals, and ensure accurate plan implementation.
• Put together FRP’s for the advisors.
• Educate clients on benefit options, compliance requirements, and industry trends.
• Assist with open enrollment meetings and employee communications.
• Maintain accurate records in the agency management system.
• Collaborate with producers and other team members to deliver top-tier service.

Requirements:

• Two plus years of recent experience in employee benefits account management (small group experience needed).
• An active CA Life/Health license is required.
• Proficient with Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook.
• Must know all lines of Employee Benefits; medical, dental, vision, etc.
• Must also be familiar with Carriers and understand how underwriting works.
• Must be comfortable on screen for video calls with clients as needed.
• Must be Bilingual Spanish.
• Must know Employee Navigator.
