As a Grain Accountant/Accounting Assistant you will be responsible for performing clerical and administrative functions for personnel throughout the organization.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND BASIC DUTIES
1. Ensure accurate payment to corn suppliers with correct deductions for lien holders and CCC, correct discounts for grades and correct deductions for corn checkoff.
2. Prepare and distribute corn settlements.
3. Apply corn, ethanol, DDG and corn oil tickets daily and generate invoices within required deadlines.
4. Prepare and enter daily production and shipment reports.
5. Accurate and timely preparation of Daily Position Report
6. Code accounts payable to correct accounts.
7. Prepare accounts payable documents for approval and payment.
8. Review invoices for correct sales and use tax.
9. Other duties as assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS
EDUCATION/CERTIFICATION:
• Two-year degree required
REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE & EXPERIENCE:
• Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite required
• Valid Driver's License required
