The Post Award Grants Accountant will provide financial oversight for all federal, state, and other externally sponsored projects. This position operates within the Finance Department.
Responsibilities:
Key areas of responsibility include financial reporting, budget oversight, time and effort reporting, and adherence to federal cost guidelines for all sponsored projects. In addition, this position will maintain the integrity of grants data housed in enterprise resource systems such as Financial Edge, ensuring that systems provide accurate reporting to program staff, sponsors and other GMRI internal and external stakeholders. The position will have regular interaction with Sponsored Projects staff, Administrators and Program Managers throughout the organization as well as external funding agencies when required.
