The Sr Accountant is responsible for full-cycle accounting across multiple small LLC entities, including a preschool, a real estate holding company, and a software partnership. This role owns the monthly close process, financial reporting, and coordination with external tax advisors, ensuring accurate and timely financials to support business decision-making.
Essential Job Functions/Duties:
- Own full-cycle accounting for multiple LLC entities with differing business models
- Manage month-end and year-end close processes for each entity
- Maintain and reconcile general ledger accounts, bank accounts, and balance sheet schedules
- Track and reconcile intercompany transactions
- Prepare and analyze financial statements, including variance analysis and executive summaries
- Maintain fixed asset and loan schedules
- Support revenue tracking across business lines (tuition, rental income, software/partnership revenue)
- Prepare year-end packages and coordinate with external CPA (including K-1 support)
- Assist with budgeting and cash flow tracking
- Collaborate with team members responsible for collections and accounts payable to identify, escalate and
- resolve any issues or concerns.
- Implement process improvements and internal controls
- Support ad hoc reporting and financial analysis
