Purpose:

Ensures integrity of accounting information by recording, verifying, consolidating, and entering transactions.

Essential Duties/Responsibilities:

  • Full responsibility of timely Wilmington ASC general ledger month-end close to include General Ledger entries and reconciliations.
  • Reconcile all bank accounts, AR, all balance sheet accounts.
  • Maintain accrual, prepaid schedules
  • Calculate charges and collections and post to GL.
  • Assist with 1099’s.
  • Assist outside accountants on yearend tax and review work
  • Assists with a variety of special projects

  • As assigned by manager.

Qualifications:

Required:

  • Associates degree in accounting, business administration, bookkeeping, or comparable relevant work experience.
  • Minimum of three (3) years of experience with healthcare accounting.
