Location: South Bay, Los Angeles (Hawthorne) – 4 days onsite, 1 day remote
Compensation: $80,000 – $125,000 base DOE + equity + excellent benefits
Employment: Full-time, Direct Hire

Our client is a fast-growing, privately held technology and manufacturing group building complex, high-performance hardware for a mix of commercial and government customers.

Think: multi-entity corporate structure, long-term contracts, and a product that actually exists in the real world, not just another SaaS dashboard.

We operate at the intersection of advanced engineering, automation, and mission-critical applications, and we’re scaling our accounting team to keep pace with the growth.

The Role:

We’re looking for a Staff Accountant who wants more than a repetitive shared-services role.

In this position, you’ll:

  • Own key pieces of the monthly close for multiple entities
  • Support revenue, fixed assets, leases, and GL workstreams
  • Partner with senior team members on reporting, audits, and process improvements
  • Get exposure to a complex, multi-entity environment with both commercial and government-facing operations

You’ll report into a modern, hands-on accounting leadership team that is actively tightening processes, upgrading systems, and building out a scalable function, not just keeping the lights on.

Required Qualifications:

  • 2–4+ years of accounting experience (public, industry, or a mix) is required
  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field is required
  • Solid foundation in U.S. GAAP (bonus if you’ve touched ASC 606 and/or ASC 842)
  • Experience with a mid- to large-scale ERP (Oracle, SAP, NetSuite, Dynamics, JD Edwards, etc.)
  • Strong Excel skills (VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, pivot tables, comfort building schedules)
  • Detail-oriented, organized, and able to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
  • U.S. citizen, with ability to work with export-controlled information tied to certain government-related projects

Nice-to-Haves

  • Experience in manufacturing, hardware, automotive, aerospace, or defense-adjacent environments
  • Exposure to inventory / cost accounting or multi-entity consolidations
  • Prior public accounting experience (Big 4 or large regional)

***IMPORTANT TO NOTE:  Due to export-controlled government/defense work, these roles require U.S. citizenship.***
No active security clearance is needed—just U.S. citizen status and ability to work with sensitive data.
