Job Description

As a Staff Accountant, you support all aspects of financial responsibility for Go Local Interactive. You focus heavily on daily collections activity, general accounting tasks that support senior team members, and have strict adherence to company financial processes. You analyze, interpret, and communicate the financial data and reports impacting our daily business. You prepare Ad Hoc financial requests and consolidated financial reporting packages. You cultivate and maintain relationships with our clients as you are responsible for billing, collections, and payables. 

Job Expectations

• Assist in the company collections process ensuring timely collection of payments, accurate reporting of payments, and following up on regular cadence as needed. 
• Prepare consolidated financial reporting packages 
• Prepare Ad Hoc financial requests 
• Responsible for client billing, collections, and payables
• Manage general ledger and account reconciliation 
• Interpret, translate, and communicate the billing and financial impacts each client contract has on the company 
• Manage and cultivate relationships internally and externally with product teams and current, past, and future clients  
• Conduct constant financial analysis and implement process improvements 

Job Qualifications

• Must demonstrate strategic and analytical thinking when solving problems
• Must demonstrate a proven track record of the ability to prioritize, organize, and multi-task in a flexible and fast paced environment to effectively meet deadlines
• Must demonstrate ability to be held and hold others accountable to best practices and legal compliance 
• Must demonstrate the ability to research and stay up-to-date on industry trends
• Demonstrated exemplary skills in Microsoft Office, including Excel, Word and PowerPoint
• Must demonstrate exemplary written and verbal communication skills 
• Knowledge of NetSuite is preferred

Required Experience 

• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or Finance is preferred. 
• 3-5 years in related accounting or finance experience

Schedule

• Full-time; 8:00-5:00, Monday through Friday
