Financial Analyst

Required Skills and Qualifications

• 7+ years of finance experience, including roles with increasing responsibility in accounting and/or finance.
• Strong Microsoft Excel skills.
• Excellent analytical thinking, critical-thinking, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to provide financial data and analysis to support business decision-making.
• Methodical approach to problem-solving, with the ability to develop logical solutions and recommendations.
• Strong knowledge of traditional accounting principles and the ability to support management needs.
• Ability to continuously learn, share knowledge, and train others.
• Experience streamlining departmental functions and improving operational efficiency.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop flexible and comprehensive tools and templates to support the consolidation and timely completion of corporate financial schedules.
• Develop system solutions and process improvements to meet financial planning and reporting requirements.
• Prepare financial analyses and reports, including:
• Plans
• Latest Best Estimates (LBEs)
• Long-Range Projections (LRPs)
• Analyze Profit and Loss (P&L) and balance sheet metrics.
• Ensure financial reports meet required timelines and presentation quality standards.
• Facilitate management reviews and support informed decision-making.
• Maintain data integrity and ensure compliance with Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP).

Education Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree, preferably in Accounting or Finance, or an equivalent combination of education and work experience.
