Hiring: IT PMO Portfolio Financial Analyst

Location: Poughkeepsie, NY

Work Arrangement: Hybrid (highly preferred)

Duration: 12 Months

We are looking for IT PMO Portfolio Financial Analysts to support financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, and reporting across IT project portfolios.

1. Financial analyst with 3+ years of experience managing budgets, forecasts, variance analysis, and financial reporting for IT projects or a PMO; strong Excel skills and ability to partner with project managers and Finance.
2. Experience tracking project spending, identifying financial risks, and supporting portfolio planning, resource allocation, and governance. SAP, PPM tools, and Power BI experience are helpful.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field.
• 3+ years of experience in financial analysis, budgeting, or portfolio management.
• Experience in an IT or PMO environment preferred.
• Strong financial analysis, forecasting, and budget management skills.
• Proficiency in Excel, SAP, PPM tools, and Power BI.
• Excellent communication, analytical, and organizational skills.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work with cross-functional teams.

Preferred Qualifications:

• IT project financial management and portfolio analysis experience.
• Familiarity with Agile, Jira, and IT governance.
• PMP certification is a plus.
• MBA, Master’s in Finance, CFA, or CPA is a plus.

Additional Details:

• Full-time consulting engagement for 12 months.
• Hybrid work in Poughkeepsie, NY is highly preferred.
• Candidates in surrounding areas may be considered for potential flexibility.
• Occasional travel may be required.
